How to Install idle software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

idle software package provides IDE for Python using Tkinter (default version), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install idle 

idle is installed in your system.

Make ensure the idle package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep idle *

You will get with idle package name, version, architecture and description in a table
